Although Deep and Marissa didn’t start their careers in the pet aftercare industry, their life experiences have led to it. As pet parents, Marissa and Deep cherish pets as family members. Unfortunately, as most pet parents eventually experience loss, they have also felt the deep sadness from the death of a pet family member. Looking back at the events after the passing of their adored pets, they feel distressed in the lack of transparency and choice for animal aftercare. They believe they can provide a better place for pet parents in search of pet funeral services. Through Pet Passages Denver, it is their mission to make the goodbyes more peaceful. Nothing can change the sorrow one feels for their loved ones when they pass away, but it is the goal of Pet Passages Denver to reduce the burden of the final passage.
Marissa is an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, with most of her career being in K-12 schools interpreting for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Marissa’s love for pets and empathy for others in a difficult situation will help her to provide a safe place for pet parents at Pet Passages Denver. In addition to business operations, she will use her interpreting skills for pet parents who may ask for it.
Deep had a successful corporate career of over 20 years in the financial services industry. He has now transitioned to being an entrepreneur and has chosen to venture into the field of pet funeral services. The loss of his first pet has made him care deeply about providing a calm and peaceful setting for other pet parents looking for pet funeral services. He is committed to using the highest ethical standards towards the aftercare of animals.
